About
To meet the market demand, MIPEC started to focus on investment in the infrastructure and warehouse system, port terminals and pipelines for petroleum distribution and transportation.
POSITION
Port warehouse MIPEC 1:
Location: Km No. 5 Hung Vuong ward, Hong Bang district, Hai Phong
Scale: The Port accepts vessel of 3,000 DWT and has a system of pipeline to receive and distribute petroleum and liquefied petroleum gas, a 2,600m3 warehouse for stocking base oil to be processed at the factory, a 2,500m3 warehouse for storing asphalt, and a store for products introduction and petroleum retail.
Dinh Vu Sea port:
Location: Dinh Vu Peninsula, Hai An district - Dinh Vu Industrial Zone, Cat Hai, Hai Phong
Scale: Area of use: 169,663 m2, Dinh Vu is an offshore port built to accept 20,000 DWT vessels, it has bridges of 380m high to load/unload cargo and to receive petroleum, systems of warehouses, pipelines, firefighting and auxiliary works. The port's clearance capacity is about 0.9 – 1.2 million tons/year.
Van Phong Port:
Location: Van Phong Port is in Van Phong bay, Van Phong economic zone, Khanh Hoa province.
Scale: Van Phong port is the country’s biggest international transshipment port project (1A grade) in Vietnam. The project has an investment of USD 37.5 million, of which 10% is contributed by Military Petrochemical Jsc. Currently, Van Phong port has two wharf areas. One of them is My Giang wharf area to the south of Van Phong bay, which is used for oil and oil products and can currently accept liquid cargo vessel of up to 350,000 DWT (and up to 400,000 DWT in 2020). The second is Doc Let-Ninh Thuy wharf area (Southwestern of Van Phong bay), which is used for bulk and other kinds of cargo.
